Chenin Blanc - Laska

Laska's favourite sunning spot in the early hours of the day was without question the tray of my bakkie, or SUV. Spread out rather inelegantly, she loved to warm her belly; leaving promptly at 8am to bound to the cellar door.

This youthful, light, crisp wine is rich in tropical fruit; especially guava characters, reminiscent of the warming effect of the early sun on the grapes. Serve slightly chilled in summer or at room temperature in winter with creamy chicken pasta, pizza or a trio of cheese.
