This Pinotage, one of Diemersfontein's premium range wines, was awarded a place in the ABSA Top Ten Pinotage challenge in 2001.

Since then the wine has become an icon of quality displaying intense yet well-balanced flavours of mocha coffee, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, with hints of caramelized banana and blackcurrant. The soft tannins allow this wine to be savoured in its youth.

* Neil Pendock's survey in the Sunday Times, as enthusiasts will remember, was voted by far the favourite Pinotage - hence Neil named it "The People's Pinotage"

* It was voted BEST RED WINE at the Mercury Wine Week in Durban 2008
